Carron has recently relocated and is now working in the beautiful Remuera Auckland area. She brings with her a wealth of experience and a world of expertise as a mobile hair and makeup artist.

MHM was established by Carron Wells as a culmination of a 25 year career as a professional makeup and hair stylist. Her life-long passion began in renowned training academies in London and Tokyo and has driven her to the top of her field in New Zealand.

As the go-to professional for the film, TV and fashion industries, Carron’s work as a mobile hair and makeup artist has featured in some of the most iconic local and international productions such as Lord of the Rings, Once Were Warriors and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. She has lead the makeup, hair and wardrobe styling for countless advertising campaigns for brands that include Rexona, Air New Zealand and Samsung. For close to a decade she collaborated with fashion designers as the Makeup Supervisor for New Zealand Fashion Week and her editorial work continues to feature in publications such as Fashion Quarterly, Next, NZ Woman’s Weekly and New Idea. Her skills and reputation make her sought after by high profile clients, from local TV presenters to Hollywood celebrities like Dolly Parton, who count on her for anything from event appearances to music videos. Over 500 brides have entrusted her with their hair and makeup for their most special day, not to mention the countless bridesmaids,mothers, aunties and sisters.

As demand for her services grew it became apparent that Carron needed a pro team of stylists to work alongside her. Although natural talent and mastery honed over decades have been instrumental in her career, she realised early on that staying ahead was about a lot more than technical skill. True empathy, a love of people and uncompromising professionalism have given her the edge.
